Prettily decorated, this restaurant has a bar, a dining-room and a tea-room where you can also have breakfast in the morning.
Simone will welcome the customers and will give you all the information and advice that you need. Whilst Simone organises the service, husband Jean-Luc does the cooking. These two persons complement one another amazingly. She will welcome you with kindness and simplicity while he excels in cooking regional meals.
It is difficult to equal his “Baeckehoffe” - this famous Alsatian hotpot - his traditional sauerkraut (made to order)
or his fried carps, the chef’s special. Even the courses such as “salade vigneronne” (a salad of cheese and sausages),
the small fish or the snails, cooked Alsatian-style, are worth coming for.
Everyday, he fixes a menu for noon, and the evening meal. All the dishes can be taken away and savoured at the camp-site.
